It is of utmost importance to us to protect customer data and to only use the information in a manner as our customers expect it. Therefore the keeping of legal regulations for data protection is a matter of course for us. With the privacy policy at hand we fulfil the obligations according to TMG ("Telemediengesetz", German Telemedia Act), BDSG ("Bundesdatenschutzgesetz", German Data Protection Act) as well as UWG ("Gesetz gegen unlauteren Wettbewerb", Act against Unfair Practices).
All personal data, which you communicate to us through the website www.ghotel.de (title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, telefax number and other personal information) are necessarily required for your booking request and reservation. The information will only be transmitted to our hotels/apartment houses to enable your reservation or booking request, to ensure the enquired service or with your explicit approval. Furthermore the data will be forwarded to the hotel or apartment house for the identification upon arrival and are needed as a means of contact in case of a change of reservation. Merely GHOTEL hotel & living and the booked hotel or apartment house have access to your personal data.
Under certain circumstances we can disclose your personal data, if we have reason to believe that it is required to identify and contact persons or statutory corporations or to take legal action against these persons or statutory corporations, which could harm you, GHOTEL hotel & living or others. We can also disclose your personal data if we think that the law requires it.
Personal data, which you have left to us, will for fiscal and for accounting department reasons, according to the effective lawful period for record-keeping, be kept in their at any one time valid version and then afterwards deleted.
As a basic principle the internet is considered an unsafe medium. In contrast to for example the telephone line, a transmission of data on the internet can be more easily tapped, recorded and even manipulated by unauthorised third parties outsiders. GHOTEL hotel & living is using modern technical and organizational measures of security to protect the information you provide us from accidental or deliberate manipulations, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our measures of security will be improved according to the technological development. For the rest are all employees and service provider of GHOTEL hotel & living bound to data secrecy according to §5 BDSG.
Upon written demand we will tell you, if and which personal data about you are stored with us and to whom this information has been passed on. In this case please send an e-mail to info@ghotel.de. This duty of disclosure of GHOTEL hotel & living is based on your right of access to personal data according to § 6 of the German Data Protection Act.
